Apologies firstly if this has been mentioned before, but I have just done the following over the past couple of days and wanted to share with you all.
Asda Baby Club offer a free coupon for a Huggies Newborn Starter pack, which RRP is £5.00 - all you have to do is register online - i can't post the link at the moment as i'm a newbie.
You don't have to be expecting, or even have children to register! - so if you know someone who is having a baby, (or like me, are planning on having kids within the next year) - you can really stock up in the following ways:
Register yourself, your partner, your parents/friends, whoever will let you, the voucher is not one per household, it's one per member :j
the voucher can be printed out about twice, if you click 'did not print correctly' - be careful though, as this is technically not allowed.
so every voucher = £5.00 of free goodies
The box contains =
By registering my family (with their permission of course), I have over the past 2-3 days managed to get:
5 x starter boxes (worth £25 for free) = 5 x packets of nappies, 5 x wipes, 5 x hats
the vouchers from these boxes have then got me 5 more packets of nappies
Tesco have them at £2.47 each at the moment, so minus the vouchers, I got 5 more packets for £2.35
Asda have the wipes at £1.00 at the moment, so with the voucher, they would be free... I managed to get one, but then unfortunately, my local asda sold out
tesco have them for £1.27, - , so i got them from tesco - hopefully they will price-match my recieptand i'll get the difference back, but if not, it cost me £1.08 for 4 packets of wipes
so basically, I now have a stockpile of 270 nappies and 640 wipes for the grand total of £3.43 plus 5 hats
I still have the little swimmers coupons. :rotfl:
All coupons expire 31/12/12 and all can be redeemed at most supermarkets / shops
the only thing is - they don't have barcodes on them, but the back of the coupon shows the huggies packet, so they should be able to accept them without a problem. I had no problems in either asda or tesco.
phew! good luck to you if you do this too!

Well done, I did a similar thing when I was expecting, there are lots of free nappies out there if you join all the clubs! x0
-
thanks! I am not pregnant ... yet (fingers crossed v soon), so i can't really register with many others, as they require due dates
but I'm impressed how asda will accept pretty much anyone to the baby club and give away vouchers
I guess to be really savvy, you can just make up lots of new emails for a new account each time?

Thanks for this, I have just managed to print my coupon.
I had a bit of trouble with the printer and it came up that it logged my IP address so you may need to use a different computer each time?Debts at LBM £6000 Debts now £1000Debt free 2011Almost there

oh yes! sorry, because i had my family helping, we had different computers... :S however it should still be 1 voucher per member of the club, so if you do manage to get more people registering, each person should be entitled to the voucher - so i think it has a help link if you get stuck with the printing? Either that or maybe asda can post a voucher out?0

the only thing I'd say is I found Huggies newborn nappies to be awful, they kept leaking, but that might not be your experience of course.
too many comps..not enough time!0 -
You've got all those nappies and you aren't even pregnant yet??? I hope you left some on the the shelf for those that are pregnant;)BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120

lol ! yes don't worry smartie12
, there was plenty left, and i would never snatch them out of the hands of someone more deserving! I am just a bit obsessed with bargains, and like to be prepared

How many nappies does a newborn use per day on average?
I am planning a similar attack on the asda baby club lol!!0 -
I've found with both of mine in the early days you tend to go through quite alot of nappies, like a 27 pack would last maybe 3 days, this is because they are eating roughly every 2 hours. If you are gonna stock up on wipes I would definitely recommend the morrisons simply value wipes, they are unfragranced and just as good as pampers/huggies etc but they are 18p a pack and the pack is just as big as any other brand0
