need advice re prze

sorry for garbeling, not sure what to do next, so any advice would be great

although it didnt give the link this is the only comp fabulous that i can find that i entered. the original email said

i didnt receive anything or have anybody contact me after this, so last week i emailed them to ask if someone could chase it up, no one replied, so on friday (i think) i posted on the fabulous facebook page to ask if someone could look into it, nobody replied. so a couple of days ago i emailed tham again, yesterday i got a reply saying that the sponsor was looking in to it. today i received a reply off the sponsor that said:

I would now like to arrange a set of lingerie for you so if you could

so these are now saying i have won 1 set of lingerie but yet the competition says a years supply surely 1 set is not a years supply? i chased them about it and now it is just 1 set, it is definately from that competition i cant see it being another one for just 1 set

what do you suggest? help me

i always seem to have things like this happen, i won a weaning set worth £300 with a highchair and steamer and stuff from babywebsite and that never arrived, i emailed over and over again for over 6 months and they just said they were chasing it up but nothing ever came. and i won £500 lipsy vouchers which i used online but over £100 worth of things i ordered didnt turn up when i emailed them they said that unfortunately somethings had returned to warehouse before delivery and any money was returned to my account (nothing was returned to my acount cos it was a voucher ) so i just lost out on more than a £100 worth of stuff. i feel so unlucky, i am hardly winning anything at the moment and when i do it turns out much less than i expected

I had a phone call last year to say I had won a prize worth £500. When it didn't arrive I questioned them and they denied all knowledge of me being the winner!

Personally I don't feel they have a clue, I wonder if it's possible to speak to the PR company direct and sort it rather than 'fabulous'?

Maybe they will email you once a month to send you some underwear? Maybe it is worth claryifying it with them and sending them the link to the competition showing it stated a years worth rather than one set? They have to offer you a prize to the same value.

well they could offer me a set every month but i doubt that is what they are suggesting, i think i might reply with a link and ask if 1 set is a years worth, i suppose you could wash and dry it every day to make it last a year!!!:eek:

maybe reply to the email attaching original WEM saying you had won a years supply and point out the fact that 1 set is definately not a years supply, also ask for a telephone number to contact the email sender ?
Can you find link to original competition and attach that too?

You could just say you are a little confused about it all and would like to speak to them?
Sometimes its easier to get a straight answer by phone.
No idea if it will work, but its what I would try next.

i am a little confused and could you just clarify what i have actually won, as the competition says a years supply (i have supplied the link for the competition)

however in your email you have asked me to pick 1 set for you to order,i would not have thought 1 set is classed as a years supply i would assume it to mean 12. i wonderd if you could just let me know if the 1 set is correct. thank you

Most mag comps ask that you cc them in any emails so I would as they like to be kept in the loop, especially if there are problems.


Not sure I'd give them the option to say that it is only one set you're entitled to as the comp states a years supply.

i do feel a little stupid now as yes this is what they were doing i got a reply today that said as such but she said i could choose them all now if i liked. although it didnt say as such in the original email. anyway glad i got it sorted, i have ordered some gorgeous sets, i cant wait to received them
