Phillips TV/DVD £79 - Boots instore only

Saw this offer yesterday in the Boots store. Not available on line where its still full price.

I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and am really pleased with it.

I have one of these,its just a shame there is no region code hack for it
I ordered the cheaper dvd/tv techno something from boots online but they sent me someone elses order.
I called to let them know (was not cross with them at all as mistakes happen)and the techno was out of stock.
The nice man offered me the philips one(159) for the cost of the techno (59.99) and he also applied two discounts to the order £32 and free next day delivery!!!
So i received the philips tv/dvd for £27.99
So thumbs up to boots

I got one of these about 4 weeks ago too but not as cheap as you did :-( I paid the £79 instore price.

I'm trying to find the multi region code but no success yet. Will let you know if i get hold of one.

I could'nt say no when they offered it at that price even though i didnt have a hack for it.
I would not have minded waiting for them to recover the cheap one from the wrong address.
