Lactose Free Milk

I don't know if this information has been posted before, apologies if so. I drink lactose-free milk and up until recently I used Lactolite UHT milk. This used to come in half-litre cartons for 44p - then they changed it to Lactofree and a 1 litre carton now costs £1.12? So I did some enquiries on the net and I am now using a product called lactase enzyme liquid which I administer to my own fresh milk. This enzyme converts the lactose. I get the benefits in that I can drink skimmed milk which is my preferred choice and not semi or full fat. The liquid comes in a little bottle and you put in 8 drops to 2 pints of milk. It lasts for ages and is so much more economical than using Lactofree, and there is NO difference in the taste of the milk. You can order it from https://www.foodreactions.org. They are part of a firm called Sciemed Ltd and information can be found on their website. HTH's.
