I'm 27 got the £5 offer anyways.
For 5 quid i got 62k worth of cover. So for 6 months got a bit of extra life cover and 70 quid profit at the end :P.
How do we cancel at end? Just cancel direct debit or ring them up to cancel? I can ring them up no problems but explaining to my wife what to do would be easier just to cancel DD.0 -
Similar discussions on here last year about an offer for £50 Sainsbury's voucher plus £35/£70 cashback on Froggybank and their sister sites resulted in an extended validation period of 6 months because allegedly there had been discussion online of people abusing the promotion by taking out the insurance with the intent of getting the voucher/cashback and cancelling ... and cashback still haSn't been paid. Bear in mind cashback is not guaranteed ... and it is a good offer (insurance is Legal & General).

Ah but Quidco is a lot more dependable
Eg a couple of years ago it was Quidco + Sainsburys, £50 Sainsbury's voucher + £50 Quidco, also underwritten by L&G, we got 2x no probs after 3 months.
I haven't noticed if this is limited to 1x per Quidco member?0 -

I don't believe that it was Froggybank or their other sites being awkward but Sainsbury's/ Legal & General seeing the discussion on here and changing the T&Cs to 6 month validation. As I said, over 6 months on and people are still waiting for cashback (but did receive the vouchers).

Thanks for this thread - I was just about to buy some life ins for my DH. I have signed up to Quidco and followed their link through to the Tesco website. Got just over £45,000 for £6 per month. I understand that Tesco will send me a giftcard after 3 months (I hope) I'm just unsure as to how the quidco cashback works? Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks again OP:)0 -
Think I've found the answer now - helps if you read the website0
