Well, i have just been declined :mad: apparently being 5ft 4 and a size 14 is enough for them to decline me. They gave me the option to ring someone to debate this, but they can stuff off. I'm not arguing that being 11 stone after recently having a baby doesn't mean i'm going to drop down dead. As if i need another reason to despise Tesco!

Yep, there appears to be a problem.
I've just looked at mine again & it's given me a link with more numbers than it did the first time..but when I tried it in a different browser it still comes up with not found.:(

Doesn't look as though there will be any referrals until they sort it.

Bit harsh - I'm not exactly slim Jim myself, and was OK - sure there wasn't anything else?

And to be fair, it's not down to Tesco, but rather Friends Provident who underwrite the policy :cool:

I rang them up as it wouldn't let me into the account and the CSA told me i was declined for that reason. I think it's harsh not least because at my age (early 30's) it's not uncommon for women to be recently post-baby! I'm really not huge either.

I'm now just going to convince myself that Tesco are onto us and getting FP to decline for the slightest reason. It's a conspiracy! (at least i hope it is and i don't need to start bulk buying the half price slim-fast in Boots :eek:)

That's crazy. However if you aren't going to claim on it, and just want the cashback and Tesco voucher then fib about the weight?

I've just tried the same! I referred 4 people at the tail end of last year and haven't received the credit. I wonder if there's been a problem all along (my friends may not have told me about the oops message and just proceeded with their own join up from the site). Think I'll add 'contact Quidco' to my 'to do' list!

I wish i had now! I just didn't think my size would be a problem! I thought the UK average was a size 16? The OH will do a policy later (no fibbing) and his should be ok.

Now i am vacillating between buying a box of doughnuts to drown my sorrows or making slim-a-soup for dinner. Not sure the kids will go for that though

I had one person use my £4.99 for you/1p for me referral link before some do-gooders got it removed by the mods :mad:


Sure enough I got my 1p a few weeks ago :cool: so it did work for me
