They do say that you need to order photo gifts for Christmas by 6th December but I created my photo book online just this week and have been mailed that it is already complete, which is why I have posted this in Grabbit!

I have bought photos and a mug from them before and been very happy with the quality and service. The photo books are created from your uploaded photos bound in a book, costing from only £5.95 for a mini book (soft cover) upwards. Just the job for doting relatives and they will post to different addresses. As you upload photos you are advised if an image is of insufficient resolution.

If you go to Currys Home Page there is an advert from Kodak EasyShare Gallery bottom right of the screen. Click that and it will take you to the offer. You have to be a new member to get the discount. Existing members can enter the code shown on the offer page to receive the same discount, which ends 31st January.

Can anyone see how much extra pages in the photobooks cost please?

It costs 20p per page extra for the mini book and 75p per page eatra for the regular and large books - before you deduct the 20% of course.

My mini-book arrived yesterday - ordered on 6th December - that IS good service! I ordered 2 the same to be sent to different addresses - you are billed 2 x P&P but it isn't excessive and that meant that my mother-in-law received her Christmas gift well ahead of schedule!:A

The mini photo book is 7" x 5" with a soft light beige/sand coloured cover that has a square hole cut in it, framing a smaller version of the image that you choose for Page 1, and a title (if you choose to have one). Depending on the dimensions of your photos, they will fill the page (landscape); as long as you rotate portrait images before uploading they will appear the right way up with white borders at the sides.

The pages are thick and matt and printed on both sides. The print quality is superb and I am delighted with the product, especially with 20% discount. I opted to add extra pages to the basic 20 pages at £5.95 before discount. With P&P it cost me less than £9 per book (after discount).

I am definitely thinking of ordering a larger book, which comes with a choice of different colour/finish of hard cover and the option to add captions to pictures, which can be displayed singly or in groups on each page. You can rearrange the photos once you have uploaded them to the site, so that you can make certain photos appear opposite each other in the pages of the book. You get an online preview of how your book will appear.

After the Asda photo gifts fiasco I am pleased to be able to give some positive feedback on this company! :T
