tobyjackjack - I enter all those I want or could give as presents but don't do many that are for children- its basically things that save me buying myself or couldn't afford! Been trying since I started for a new tv or a Wii but no luck as think a lot of people enter. Plus I do postcard comps but rarely win on those. Hope that answers your question x

my brother & i have been doing this for just under a month & won 7 prizes between us,then again we might not win again for ages,just the luck of the draw i guess

I don't enter that many myself, but there are over a hundred probably closer to 150-200 just in dailies. You then have the Facebook and Twitter competitions which don't all get listed on here, but do the rounds between compers. There has also been 10 new pages added to the main board today most of which new are new comps a few bumped for other reasons. So if you have the time and inclination there are 100's to enter each day.

It's all luck of the draw, I have been comping just over a year and was very fortunate to win a short holiday within the first 4 months, since it's been much smaller things.

Here's hoping we are all post wins soon and not that we are still waiting for the postie to knock!! Good Luck!!

I make sure I enter all the ones I want to which are ending the next day. Go to the bottom of the page and click Thread Title instead of Last Post Time and Ascending instead of Descending. I then go to the page where the next days comp start and enter all the ones I want. This means that I don't miss any.

Lol, where have you been hiding??!

There are at least 10 new pages of comps each day, 20 comps per page that's 200 comps alone just posted on the main board here.

And then there's the dailys and comps not posted here i.e. quick comps on Twitter and FB!



Back to the orginal poster, don't give up, just be patient. 30 a day isn't a lot, and 7 weeks comping isn't much either. What are you mainly entering for? If you entering for things like holidays, cash, iPads - basically any expensive prizes then you're a lot less likely to see a lot of wins than entering for DVDs and books. The better the prize the more entrants.

Try some effort comps too, you never know!!

Also try some comping karma, find some competitions yourself and post them. Do some volunteer work, give to charity, etc. I gave away a car-full of stuff to charity at the end of December, in January I won £400 Love2Shop vouchers, £300 Arcardia vouchers and £500 House of Fraser vouchers - presumably the comping fairy thought I needed some new stuff after giving so much away!

I haven't been comping for very long either but just remember that you stand just as much chance as everybody else whos entered, my husband used to laugh at me, always asking when I was going to win something anygood - he doesn't laugh since I won £10,000. I'm not gloating, its just you have to be in it to win it. Keep going and it will happen.
