We moved from Stranmillis dental practice to Beechview on the Falls a while back.
The dentist in Stranmillis charged a fortune just to look in your mouth. I like to see a dentist work for their fee - a bit of scraping doesn't go amiss. The two of us would be finished inside 5 minutes and then be billed for two fifteen minute appointment. She also seemed keen to drum up business, encouraging me to replace perfectly good old fillings that I had no issues with and telling my OH he needed a crown. The new dentist said everything was fine. The prospect of 500 for a new crown was enough to push me to move us elsewhere after 10+ years. Beechview is NHS and I'm impressed by the thoroughness of the dentists there.Stercus accidit0
