Hi, it seems to work as your 5 butters on their own (don't add the lotion) as 2 free plus 25% total £28.12.
Or free lotion plus 2 other £8 or less items free when you buy 2 of your butter plus 25% total £18.75, so 3 free items with 2 butters.

I hope this makes sense as it has made me confused typing it, but it does work play around with it!

Here's what I did:

2x candles @ £20 (£10 each) (you can add other high value products to your basket but NOT gift sets)
2x sleep balms FREE (£8 each normally) (add 3 items of equal value to your basket - doesn't seem to work on items above £8, then add the FREE £8 body lotion, THEN delete the extra £8 item at the bottom of your basket as you only want the FREE 2)
1x body lotion FREE £8 normally)
-£5 voucher (code CODE25)
TOTAL £15 (£44 normally)

I think this works because the system sees the body lotion as the 5th item which qualifies you to get the 2 free £8 items, but then it also gives you the body lotion free. Hope this helps someone.

For £16.50p, you could have had a free body lotion for £8 with this order.

Add the free body lotion for spending over £28. Then add the 5 shower gels, then the Vitamin E. Then add the code for £5 off.

Not quite sure, how this happened but just managed to get the following. I couldn't add anything else to the basket for free delivery though. I did use the £5 off £20 spend but discount only shows as £3.13.

I was just playing about adding different items to the basket!
