I visited Morrisons last week, the first time for a few years. I used to like their stores and thought they were good value. They still seem to have good specific offers but I was disappinted with their normal prices for various things I buy - they were all more expensive than in Asda or Tesco.

I bought some of these oranges for 30p last time they had this promo. They were rancid. That applies to any cheap supermarket deals.

    Why is this?

I use Morrisons as I use all the Supermarkets close to me and that's normally for specific offers I am in the fortunate position to have a bus pass which allows me to visit just for the offers and in this way the cost of my shopping is right down.

Okay, I'll speak as I find...I agree with Middy.

I've tried several times with Morrisons fresh fruit offers in case it was just a one off, but have usually ended up binning most of it..blackened tomatoes, mouldy fruit etc, even the onions were bad when I cut them in half. I think the 'pin has finally dropped' & I won't bother again.:D

I've never had a problem with the fruit/veg at Morrisons. I bought some of the bargain pears for 30p and they're fine!

They're also selling 500ml of Borges extra virgin olive oil, 2 for £3. One bottle costs £3.89.

Got the pears yesterday, was good price! No tomatoes though: out of stock!
Went to asda and they had their tomatoes 4 pack on offer for 25p instead of 50p cos they were dated display til the same day!

    Lidl..thats the place to go...
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Never had a problem with morrisons fresh produce.

I have been loyal to morrisons for years, but am beginning to realise that you can get cheaper deals on certain stuff elsewhere.
The opposite of what you know...is also true
