Jessops in-store discounts / Nikon cashback

To celebrate my upcoming 43rd birthday I'm intending to buy £900's worth of camera equipment from Jessops.
How do I get the best deal with these people? I've gone into a couple of shops, and they refused to give a discount for cash, but were willing to offer some free accessories, but how do I really screw them down to the best deal?
I'm intending to pre-order online to take advantage of the discounts and also the 10% voucher code for various accessories, but will the shop try and beat the online price, or simply refuse?
And, does anyone know if Nikon will be repeating their £40 cashback offer on the D3100 SLR anytime soon? They had one recently, but it expired on the 5th May.
Thank you!

There's some good tips in the Haggle on the high street guide if you think it'll help any for haggling. I'm sure others will give more tips too.
Also, Comet (the difference plus 10% and includes shops within a 10 mile radius) and Richer Sounds (the difference plus £5 to £100) are especially good for price matching online prices.
I take it you've checked the online prices as Jessops does appear to be the best price for the D3100. If not then try searching the MegaShopBot, there's also a few more shopbots at the bottom of this page.
You can also get approximately £21.99 cashback if you purchase this from Jessops via Quidco or Topcashback.
Check the Cashback-Sites Maximiser for best cashback offers.

Thanks Lugh - I had no idea about Quidco etc.0

just seen this...
buyacamera.co.uk/cashbacks/nikd3100summer2011cb.pdf
looks like it's from all sellers, not just from buy-a-camera.
valid from 3rd June i think
:j
ps - Jessops may not be cheapest, but beware of cheap internet only companies - I've had bad customer services expereinces with Simply Electronics & Pixmania0
