Boils ?

I have got a huge boil under my right boob, I am unable to wear a bra, and every time I bend over It's hurting. I have tried to squeeze it, has a head on it but hurts to much

Can I stick a pin in it? :eek:

I suffer with this condition, where I have pimples under my boobs, down sides (little bit) and in my inner thigh. And sometimes they turn to boils. I can't remember the name of it, begins with an S.

Mind you I know to put a hot flannel on it, But I don't need to do it with this one as it's soft, and dying to come out, but it's getting to that stage.

I have antibiotics here from another time, BUT I don't want to take them untill this has burst, cus it will just come up somewhere else after a week. .


Any tips/experience?

EDIT: It has burst on it's own, loads came out, And I have started my antibiotics. Just wanted it to bust before I started them, As It gets sucked back in and will come out elsewhere on my body. (Dermatologist told me this).

I used to get them in my armpits from shaving and nicking myself, so i can feel your pain hon.

I am terrible for squeezing, I used to sterilise sewing needles and burst them....even though I knew it was bad! The pain is awful though, and yours must be worse what with your bra getting in the way It's such a relief afterwards when they've burst though!

At least now you have your antibiotics and hopefully they will help.

What were you doing with antibiotics from 'another time'? You're supposed to finish the course.

I am a Doctor and obviously need more info....aye right girl!....wash and double wash with normal soap regularly...not the nancy perfume stuff!

Lots of long hot baths will bring it up to a head and it should then burst on its own.

My sympathies, I used to get boils/abscesses whenever I was a bit run down and I know how awful they are! The doc used to send me to hospital to have them cut out under general anaesthetic, but that was a pain and left scarring so drawing them out with heat works a lot quicker and easier.
