  • :rotfl: I'm the same, since I have been here on mse even 50% off offers don't seem like a good deal, unless it's electrical of course. Either that or you have studied Martins mantra effectively!

I actually think it's a total bargain, I bought my makeup brushes from MAC and your going to go into shock when you hear I paid £24 for my blusher brush. The thing is with makeup and the tools you use quality makes a massive difference to the finished results.

I did buy those brushes pre mse mind, but I wouldn't hesitate buying these. I went into boots today, forgot what I was looking for and ended up buying raisins and biscotti for dd instead :p

Blinking eck, I wondered why the trowel Ive been using for years is not having the desired effects... ... :)

I have a few MAC brushes as well... the most I paid for one was £31! But they last years, so cost per use is literally pence :D (that's how I justify it anyway!)

Boots at Colton (Leeds) had nail files, foundation, eyeshadow, cosmetic sponges and tweezers last night. They were all marked up at full price on the normal section but I am sure they would go through the till at 75% off.

The Boots at High Chelmer in Chelmsford has quite a bit of good stock left.

I went this morning and got nail varnish, a gorgeous metallic dark blue eyeshadow and a 'smokey eye kit' (which I'll use as a pressie) all for £8-odd.

You need to open the drawers beneath the display case though; the stuff on show is totally ravaged.

all the R&M accessories go through the tills at 75% off, regardless of whether the signage is up in your store ;). I think thats why they are not shifting fast in the store I was in on Saturday, no signage up.

Thanks SO much OP! I am so glad I logged on and saw this thread today, just saved £145 off items that I routinely use - i'd have been distraught if R&M had disappeared without me knowing

Where have they hidden the display these days? I went up there today and I couldn't find it? There seems to be a TooFaced stand where it used to be?

    Thanks
