All very well but trying to explain this to a nine yearold that the logistics of this commercial promotion failed at the point of delivery is hard. All my son knows is that it were advertised extensively on telly, the ad on the front page has stated everyday "...Free Toy With this Newspaper..." and for last two days has not been able to get it. So along with Sunday as most WHSmith stores are shut I will have to send three letters to the Sun Customer Services. My son was duped into spending his pocket money on the promise of a free toy. So much for FREE the postage is gonna cost another £1.50 and no guarantee of a toy just we will "try" and post you one.0

Kent has 2 TOYSRUS and a WHSmith in every town and still could not cope with demand. :mad:For those unable to get the lego toys from The Sun - highly likely in Northern Ireland which has a grand total of 1 WHSmith and an incredible 3 branches of Toys r Us - I got this email last night....

When I was in SMiths yesterday, the man behind me in the queue bought 22 copies of the Sun, just to get every remaining Lego toy. No doubt these now appear on E-Bay
They need to limit the maximum number per customer to make this promotion fair0 -
That is disgraceful, this promo was aimed at kids. My son almost cried on Sunday when he saw a woman grab three papers and in the queue behind us was her husband with another bundle of papers. My son got his toy on Sunday, had to travel to Dover from Deal to get it. But my son did not get his toy on Friday and Saturday as with most WHsmiths they had simple ran out of stock early. How did the Sun newspaper bosses get this so wrong.0
