This is a scottish brooch which has a double heart and a crown on top. I work at the battlefield at Culloden and this would be a nice talking point because it is what a jacobite lad would give his lady. Since I am not getting paid for this I don't want to spend too much on this. But would love one as a talking point

I would have thought there would be jewellers, kilt shops or gift shops in Inverness that would stock these.
Through Google I've managed to find a few on websites. Silver ones seem to be around the £50 mark, like this one:

These are a bit cheaper, but have a stone in the middle:

A pewter ones - cheaper still:

I've never used any of the above websites, so don't know how reliable they are.
Typing "luckenbooth" into Ebay got 2 pages of results, so you could consider that too.0 -
I absolutely love the pewter one and it is a nice price as well, but would prefer to get it at under £10. But I really love the pewter one.:jI would have thought there would be jewellers, kilt shops or gift shops in Inverness that would stock these.

Try the victorian market in town.I've seen them in one of the jewellery shops there- maybe the silversmiths next to the barbers shop?Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heavenMatthew 5:30
