Sky HD box half price

Normally I delete marketing email but I received one from Comet stating that I can get £150 off a Sky HD box (normally £300) or a free upgrade to Sky+ if I buy anything (no min spend) in store over the next three days.

A bargain for the HD equipment or can this be haggled through Sky normally?

Hi,
I got the same email. From what I understood, you didn't need a code and could buy anything at all from Comet to get a free sky+box, but this doesn't include installation.

Also I think installation is free if you get multiroom.

I think I'll give it a go... Makes it £5 a month for the year then can cancel multiroom and have the SKY + upstairs fitted. I don't want to waste my reliable Sky + box as there like gold dust.

Just been to Comet Coventry. Their deal lasts until 17.12.06. As an existing customer you upgrade to sky+ and they charge a one off £60 for installation, or you can have free installation if you subscribe to their multi-room package at £10.00 per month for the extra box (which is basically your original old one re-located to another room)

Got Sky HD Box with multiroom... just buy anything to activate the discount, there are some £5 computer games etc. Can't wait
