I've made a brilliant spreadsheet and want to share it!

Right, I'll tinker with it for a few minutes and hopefully it will be self explainatory. I'm doing some uni coursework tonight so I haven't got time to offer any full instructions...

Gimme 5 minutes and I'll host it up somewhere.0 -

Click "Download File".
I've added a few comments in red boxs, there are lots of tabs along the bottom, just click away, add all your figures in and bingo!!
I love manipulating figures (overpayments etc) to see how it brings the DFD down!
:D:D:D
Good luck with it, please post comments here.0 -
Not sure if its viable or not, but I have a wage calculator - works out the tax an NI on wages overtime and incentives (based on a 503L) tax code. Is extremely accuarte - was out last month by 14p (and i got paid £1700 gross)
Might help some, as you know exactly how much you'll have coming in a month in advance. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

I too have one on the one I use personally, but thought I'd try and keep the spread sheet fairly simple until I have the chance to add some full instructions.

one i have made (rather crudely) only needs 3 bits of info,
Gross annual wage
Hours overtime(based on 1.5*)
incentive amount
Then it all gets calculated automaticallyNo Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

Cool. I just think wages and tax vary so much, different allowances and tax credits, company cars and the such like I left it out.

Have you filled the sheet in yet - want to know your debt free date!

I have to admit i havnt:embarasse just for the simple fact my wages arnt the same every month - i dont always have the same level of OT or the same incentive - but It is very handy and easy to use.
I agree with your last post too, company cars, medical schemes and a whole host of other things can affect your tax payment (such as student loans  - my payments dont even meet the interest - wonder if that classes them as a loan shark? :rotfl: )
It works fine for me, but I realise there can be several reasons it wouldnt for others. No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
