A menu planner/diary app or site online?

Hello,

I am looking to make up a monthly menu plan, well 4 weeks at a time.

I was wondering if there is anywhere online that I can find recipes and them put them into a timetable sort of menu plan that I can look at and see what i need.

Ideally I need to find a page with suggestions of things to put on it too.

Does anyone know of anything?

Cheers I am not sure if what I am looking for is available. I am trying to make a book up or something or all the things I like then be able to select them into a menu for the month.

I'm just starting to meal plan and after some googling, I found the shoppingplanner .co.uk website (sorry new user so I can't post links) and I am totally addicted! I've seen the spreadsheets but they all seemed a bit complicated and I wanted something that would save my recipes and create me a shopping list for what I needed to buy (and eliminate what I don't need as its in my store cupboard).

It's free (as long as you don't mind the adverts, otherwise I think you can pay an annual charge - I didn't bother) and allows you to save a whole selection or meals and pick them for up to a months worth. You can also share recipes and "borrow" other peoples meals! I saw some similar apps but they were all at least £1.19 (not that expensive I guess)

Before I found it, I had jotted almost 100 recipes onto papercards and was using those but this is far easier!

If you have an iphone I recommend the BBC Goodfood apps and BigOven app.
I use the one pot goodfood app most weeks.
:) Thanks to all who post comps! :)

Try PM MrFW he is looking at doing something like this if I am not mistaken.

  • Thanks for the tip about the big oven app, just got a second hand iPhone and was wondering what apps would help my OS lifestyle.
