Lloyds Allergy Reliever £4 instore

Hi,
Just been in to my local Lloyds (Mildenhall) and they had loads of their Allergy Relievers reduced down to £4. They are still £19.99 online.

http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=1008&storeId=90&productId=344791&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=&top=&top_category=&fromPage=Search&hotspot_prefix=&gclid=CJqJxK_-7qgCFcod4QodB0AODg

Might be worth checking in store if your planning to get one :)

Thanks OP, had to ring round a few Lloyds and eventually got 1!! can't believe its only £4 you pay that for between 1 -4 packs of tablets depending on brand, Will see if it works as i see from the box its for dust allergy and pet allergy too.

For those out there who go into LLoyds its in a browny coloured box and i was told its version 1 (so older stock trying to clear) does exactly the same as the other one they are selling for £14.99 instore and £19.99 online both currently half price. :j :j

I'd really urge any hayfever suffers to try one of these - you'd be daft not to at this price!

This little gizmo has transformed my summers :) I first used it last summer and couldn't believe the results. I was taking 3 x's the dose of anistamines and still suffering from itchy eyes, sore throat, runny nose and itchy ears. Now I have no symptoms and use the allergy reliever just twice a day.

Amazon had them too - just in case Lloyds run out.

There are some on the cashier desk, but also a big stack at the end of the first aisle (when you come in through the door opposite KFC)

If you or her are a shoe size 4 they also had a beautiful pair of scholl wedge sandals reduced to £10 with the allergy machines :rotfl:

I haven't been in to Wilkos yet, I don't get paid for another week and would be too tempted to buy things :D However, come the 25th.......................:p

I got one through their Amazon store a few weeks back and it's made my allergies soooo much better. Just use it a couple of times a day for about 3 mins. As well as hayfever, I suffer with dust and pets which has been made loads worse by my new long haired cat liking to sleep with his head on me or my pillow!

It was one of the older models - I think the main difference is the newer ones have interchangeable tubes, I guess so you can share it with someone else or replace them if they fail, but at £4.99, you might as well get a few spares! I think I might.

Also got one of the Lloyds air purifier things through eBay for about £8 delivered. That's really good too, just turn it on in the bedroom for a few hours before I go to bed and hey presto, no waking up in the middle of the night sneezing. It's a little loud to leave on all night, but that seems to do the job anyway.

    Thanks OP!

Managed to get one after calling round a few stores. I would've got a few, for spares, but they only had one left. I'm chuffed to bits as I've been meaning to buy one for a while now and almost bought one about 5 times in the last couple of weeks so I'm really glad I waited!!! :)

Couldn`t find one of the £4 ones for luv nor money, so being fed up to the back teeth of my eyes looking like I`d done ten rounds with Tyson, decided to go for the £14.99 one, the air purifier for £9.99 and give that a go.

The very nice sales assistant plucked a leaflet from the stand entitled "Allergy Relief" and inside was a voucher whereby if you purchased the Allergy Reliever, you could get the Ioniser for free..valid until July 26th
    HTH :)

Thanks for that. I got one for £14.99 today. I'll ring them tomorrow about the ioniser offer.

Thanks to the OP -- never heard of this gadget till now

The bad news is, this has absolutely no basis in science. The good news is, the placebo effect can be incredibly powerful. Even better news, it can still work, even if you know it's a placebo. But the bad news, the placebo effect is stronger on remedies perceived to be more expensive.

So be sure to convince yourself you're sticking incredibly expensive LEDs up your nose...

According to the manual, it's been clinically proven (in clinical trials) to relieve symptoms. As long as it does work, I'm not bothered about how! I've heard so many success stories so I figured it's definitely worth a try :)

    The manual says...
"The Lloydspharmacy Allergy Reliever works by using phototherapy of two different wavelengths. One wavelength promotes increased blood flow and circulation and the second wavelength (red light therapy) suppresses the cells that release histamine and reduces inflammation, thereby relieving the irritating symptoms of allergic rhinitis."
