I think youll find Sports World get these made cheaply under license. They always have these at 70 or 80 percent off. I doubt its the same YSL stuff you would get in Selfridges.

Not too fussed as they are a good price for a quality made pair of jeans, I would rather pay the sports world price than selfridges price anyday as they are only jeans and as long as they are well made that will do me.

Even if the jeans are last seasons style I hardly think anyone would notice or care , I tend to buy Diesel jeans or GAP ones as they are of good quality

  • Bf and I were in Sports World today - Very impressed, he usually buys his YSL stuff from Debs/HOF and the quality and style of the knitwear/t-shirts is exactly the same... Wasn't convinced on the socks I saw, seemed very thin... But everything I saw was incredibly impressed and that's not easy!

Also, had YSL stuff for younger boys too, aged 5 to about 14... Really wanted to stock up for unborn (unconceived even!) children but bf wouldn't let me :(

Some excellent savings, FANTASTIC for presents!

    Def worth a look
  • Sports world has the most apalling customer services I have ever come across. The most arrogant store manager I have ever had the misfortune to meet too. . We bought one of these YSL items- a sweater. It was washed once as per instructions (40 wash) and came out all mishapen. Is this usual YSL quality???

i agree with you totally on this one, we went in a few months back and bought some things, paid by cheque(OH account). we went back a few days later to exchange some of the things we had bought and to buy a few more items, only to be told that we now couldnt buy the extra items as the cheque guarantee card did not have a number on that matched the cheque.

urm sorry but we bought things in here a few days ago using the same mothod of payment  showing her the receipt!

along with her snotty 'I AM THE STORE MANAGER' attitude she then had the full team of staff follow( and watching) my OH around the store like he was a criminal whilst he went to collect a complaints form!

when we approached her about this (as i heard over the radio 'theres a lad with a striped jumper coming over can you watch what he is doing, etc, etc) she made some story about how she was warning them about 2 lads that looked suspisious not OH.

I could go on but i'll stop there, just think some common (or uncommon) curtiousy wouldn't go a miss in this shop!

back to the YSL items OH bought one of these tshirts in a First Sport shop about a year ago for £40, we were shocked to see it in sports world for just over a quater of the price he paid.
