Best value lcd tv with inbuilt dvd ?

I am after buying a 15 ish inch LCD TV with an inbuilt DVD for my little boys xmas pressie , been looking around and can see one in currys reduced to £179 , found some vouchers for free delivery etc as well

This looks like a good deal to me although I dont know much about this sort of thing, anyone else recently bought or found any other good deals ?

Tesco instore have one called a Ventura was £178 but they have reduced the version without the dvd player by £20 to £128 so they may have reduced this one too.

If you can, I'd consider spending an extra £70 on this (or something similar):

as it's a half-way competent PC monitor too, if the time arises, and it's widescreen for digital transmissions once the analogue is switched off.

It says it's HD but there's no HDMI or DVI connection listed so I'd take that with a pinch of salt, although it would be fine for XBox 360, etc. with the right leads.
