Ebay and Paypal fees

Hi, I'm currently selling a phone on ebay which i hope to get £400
for. Does anyone know how i can work out the ebay seller fees for this item and also what the paypal fee would be? I'm just thinking that if i'm gonna end up missing out on £50 or something then i may as well sell to envirophone for £300 and keep the spare headphones, charger and lead.
Hope someone can work it out for me - i've looked on the websites but there's so much info, it's really hard to find what i need.

Total Fees (excl. P&P) if sold at £400 would be £53.80.

Have you looked at Ebid or Gumtree, Craigslist, vivastreet or diamond free ads?

There are lots of scammers operating on Ebay especially in the category you are selling in. I would be very wary about how you send that phone if I was you. Have you looked on the ebay discussion forum? I would get some advise off there first if I were you. Some people on there are very knowledgeble and will be able to give you good advice about how you should send the phone.

I agree with the post above. I would personally send it by Royal Mail recorded post. You might also want to consider selling it on Amazon. Remember selling fees differ for “auction” and “buy it” now items. Total costs depend on extras such as number of photos and which category you place it in.
