Advice Please

Hi can anyone offer some advice please we are changing mortgage to Nationwide I received a phone call to say everything ok but your husband has another mortgage in his name only on your property started on the same day we took out our existing mortgage only advice they gave me was to get a copy of credit check from Experian which we did and it shows right enough mortgage in his name I phoned existing lender and I am getting pushed from piller to post latest we have been told that is not so you only have one mortgage with us they have now asked for a copy of where the report shows other mortgage which I have faxed to them so they could see it in black and white.
Awaiting phone call to what they say next any advice on what to do next thanks

    You can download a copy of the charges register from The Land Registry for £4. This should help to clarify the situation.
