Re-Mortgage to pay off £16,000 ?

    Thanks for the response again. Much appreciated.

    The mortgage is split into two parts:-

    1)

    Repayment (16ys 8 months left) @ 5.89% = £271.33 pcm
    Current Balance £48393.53

    2)

    Repayment (16ys 8 months left) @ 5.89% = £126.70 pcm
    Current Balance £22598.05

    Details of mortgage (applies to (1) and (2):-

    "A variable rate, which is 0.95% above our Base Rate (currently 0.5%) to give a current rate payable of 1.45% applies to this loan" -NB Not fixed as I first thought :-/

    I really need to deal with the high APR of the Barclays Select loan and OD.
