I'm not a smoker but did find this company on HotUKDeals:

You could also try Amazon, Selfridges apparently sell them as well, you could also try factory shop outlets as well.

I had an Intellicig http://www.intellicig.com/ - I went for that one in the end as the juice/cartridges are made in the UK so less risk of contaminants than the cheapo ones from random factories in china! I had also tried one at a market stall and there is no comparison, the intellicig was much better. Do some research though, theres quite a large ecig community out there! Theres another certain one I remember them all raving about but can't recall the name sorry...possibly "510"?

I have since quit smoking altogether, although the electronic cigarette didn't turn out to be the thing that made me quit :)

    They are excellent.

I've quartered my tobacco consumption since starting with one nearly two years ago and kept it down. Felt an awful lot better from it too - quickly. Saw positive improvements within a fortnight that have been maintained. It also saves you a small fortune!

The best to go for tends to be what works best for you. Most of the e-cigs sold by the market leaders are good, with good spares support and quality fluids.

The names to look out for are TECC, Totally Wicked, OK Smokey in the UK and Heaven Gifts or Healthcabin in China - These last two are slow to deliver but far cheaper for spares/certain fluids. The main OEM brand names for original components are Joye/Joyetech for e-cig parts and Dekang/Joye for fluids - These are the good quality brands but TW/TECC's top lines for fluids are better quality still.

Avoid - anything sold in blister packs in novelty shops, convenience stores, market stalls etc as these tend to be toys or old atomiser designs being remaindered. Also be very wary of stuff on Groupon/deal-sites (the TECC link above is an exception) as many are also old/unsupportable and grossly overpriced to begin with or try to lock you into contracts for stupidly priced refills. Buying fluid in bottles and refilling your cart/tank is far better.

The main types of e-cig are the 510 atomiser (AKA, Titan, Tornado, e-Go), the 901 atomiser (Mini, DSE-901) and recently a variety of "Tank" atomisers based on the aforementioned designs that are a little easier to use in practice. Anything based on these will be good. Personally I use the Tornado/510 type and the Mini/901 - The Tornado is IME best for vapour productiion and battery life whilst the Mini is best for taste and compactness. Tried the Tornado tank but found it could be a messy, wasteful, faff and went back to wadding carts in after a few months.

Buying a starter kit from TW/TECC is probably the best way to get going and they have regular sales/promos, then buy spares, fluids from whoever is cheapest at the time. All the main components are interchangeable between similar models in the different brands.

Fluids - e-cigs come with 18mg fluid to start with which is midrange for strength. If you were a heavy/rollie smoker, it will be better to go for the 36mg fluid and gradually work down to 24/18mg or less. Day to day fluids are cheapest from Heaven Gifts or Healthcabin, whilst Totally Wicked/TECC's Black Label range is by far the best quality I've tried. I tend to restock them when they have a sale.

I had a good look around, the intellicig sounded good, mainly due to the thought of British made stuff, should be safer, but then there is no real research out there regarding e-cigs, so I figured whatever regarding the liquid. Who knows how much healthier they are, aside the obvious fact of not inhaling all the bad chemicals from a real cig...
In the end I really didn't want a bulky heavy one, so ended up going for the Sport starter kit (with a Portable Charging Case)
    http://www.jacvapour.com/product.cgi?group=1389&product=1390
Gives me a chance to charge it on the go, combined with a 2nd battery spare, and I liked the idea of flavours. I still mix and match between real and e-cigs, but hope to switch to e-cigs fully, eventually.

A starter kit anywhere will set you back a few quid, but once you get into refilling with liquid, it can get quite cheap after that.
I played with the local shop ones, and didn't like the taste/feel/size/weight and was almost put off, till I discovered other makes, proper ones persay, out there.
Also the chances are the first one you buy may not be the one you use long term. There are many differing factors from feel, weight, length, look etc (this also put me off) but I cut all my choices down to a UK company (faster to buy refils etc from), and the look/weight of it. Going for the 65mm battery (lower charge, I think, but with a spare no issue on running out) as the smaller one was OOS.

This site/forum was also a godsend as there are many people on there that can offer opinions/choices/help

Edited to say: The above poster has posted a wealth of information about the types etc. I didn't really want to go down the technical route, and just wanted one that works. Would echo what was said about market stalls/shops etc though. For me I felt overwhelmed by the choice already, and just wanted some brands/types that I could go, which is what I was given on the forums i posted. I'm more than happy with my Jacvapour one, cept the flavours are quite good, and could easily see my self chain "smoking"!
