Lifetime trackers

Hi people, will be moving house shortly so been looking at mortgages, currently have an ING flexible mortgage 0.9% above BOE:j, but unfortunately it isnt portable:mad::mad::mad:. My LTV for the new house is only 42-43% so pretty low and looking at the trackers because of the ability to overpay, lump sums etc, but am open to suggestions.

Looking at these products from HSBC and ING direct, both are similar deals in that HSBC is 1.89% above BOE and ING are 1.85% above BOE.
The only difference is there is a £1000 fee with ING, whereas there is no fee with HSBC.
I am also an existing customer with ING, does anyone think i should try them to see if they will waive the fee?
Also its possible the £1000 is offset with the interest saved from the 0.04% difference over the term of the mortgage.

whats everyones thoughts?
incedently the loan amount is £100,000 approx.
