On-Line Finance Help

in Loans
Hi
I purchased a vehicle in 2004 with a credit loan from On-Line Finance, I was self employed at the time and everything was fine, a couple of years later after making regular payments, I became seriously ill and unable to work.
I was hassled nonstop by on-Line Finance with threatening letters and telephone calls, I then wrote offering to pay with limited monthly amounts as I was now solely reliable on benefits, I had written and phoned On-Line Finance telling them of my situation on numerous occassions.
Then all the media became focused on PPI claim backs and I approached a company to handle my bank claims and PPI for the vehicle finance, the bank claims were all won and then I recieved an email from the claims company informing me that I had not taken out PPI with On-Line Finance and when I questioned what I had been paying £13+ a month for they confirmed that I had taken out "Bill Protection Insurance", something I had never heard off with regards to my loan agreement.
The claim organisation sent me a copy of the original letter inviting me to take up "Bill Protection Insurance" and there was a customer service phone number on the letter so I called and they had me registered as being invited to join, however I never joined and they had never recieved any funds on behalf of me.
I am totally at a loss, I have tried calling on-line finance who have a new number listed on their answerphone message, when I call that number it gives several options to press 1-5 and no matter how many times you make a selection the message keeps being repeated with no diverts to any departments.
Their new web address is w w w 4you dot com and listed as available to purchase with no connection to Online finance, I have mailed Gmac with no answer, none of my letters are responded to at the address in Cardiff for online.
I still owe money to on-line finance, majority of which if not all is charges, this is being collected by a solicitor named shoosmith, who only responds if you fail to make a monthly payment.
I would be grateful for any advice on what to do next
Kindest Regards
