And I have agreed repayments with all my other debts which have been accepted and are being honoured0

Something my partner had done accidentally came back and bit us. She applied for a loan but never went through with it and they got the bank details from that
Who are "they"? The company that is now harrassing you and your boss? Are you saying that they have now got your bank details and are taking out over and above the £150 they had previously agreed to?
You should put in writing your demand that communications should be in writing (don't email nor say that email should be used - it is not considered a reliable means of communication). Phone them to say you are doing this and do not enter into any other conversation.
You previously hinted that you could afford to pay them off - if so then why don't you?loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
No it is a different company. I was hoping to pay them off this month or at least half of it until this happened0

You are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
On the one hand you are requesting that they "kindly" accept a reduced payment to them, on the other had you are reporting them to their governing bodies for harrassment.
There is only one way out, that is to pay them off. As redpete has alluded to, what have you done over the last few weeks to resolve this?
Have you been selling stuff, cancelling Sky TV and all the other unnecessary subscriptions, flogged the car?
This is what happens when you go applying for loans when already in a mess, we see it frequently.
We don't know if you will lose your job.
You may find if you approach your boss he may be sympathetic and give you an advance to clear the debt off (some companies do have a degree of compassion and loyalty to their employees).0 -
Sounds like you are looking for an excuse to default here.
It also sounds like you may have picked the wrong people to screw over.
As said above, damned good advice, sell up, stay in, and pay off.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
This all sounds rather convoluted and somewhat bizarre.
Which company are sending these messages? Yes, you can name them here.0
