fingers crossed been accepted with kensington for joined buy to let, decision in principle accepted, referred to underwriters cos FA stated on applicated that we had previously been declined . So Kensington just wanted to know why, told them due to main prime lender not accepting default, so fingers crossed it will be ok!

If you have been agreed in principle then they should already know about the default anyway as they will have run a credit check (unless it hasn't shown up but that is fairly rare).0

Hi broker, yes we told them about the default and that that was the reason why we were declined by bms and coventry. they said file now with underwriters and should hear within 48 hrs! nail biting time now!!
BMS gave me a AIP then they did a further check and thats when the default showed so declined me after a couple of days.0 -
Good luck!0

thanks Broker, I have now been told that Kensington surpassed the bit about being declined by 2 previous lenders. They have now requested valuation fee and £100 admin fee which I paid for both yesterday and said that once cleared and the underwriters have checked file and all ok then they will instruct valuer.0
