Removing name from mortgage

Hello,
My name is currently on a joint mortgage and I am looking to move with new partner. There is only 13 years to run on old mortgage, and as a result it is approx half paid and was not a large sum in todays terms anyway. Ex wife currently paying me for the mortgage each month as all comes out of my account
Can anyone suggest best way to remove my name from the mortgage so that my finances can be taken into account on new mortgage for a better deal?

You will have to see whether the lender is happy to relase you from the mortgage - i.e will your ex wife qualify for the mortgage under the lenders criteria on her own (next alternative to remortgage to a lender who will).Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
