Quidco question-car insurance

Stupid me just took out a policy and forgot to go through quidco-if I cancel it (rang up and was told I had to wait till tomorrow for the details to show up on the system) and then clear my cookies and go through quidco and get the same quote and buy it will that work and will I get my cashback? I could kick myself for forgetting about quidco!!That's £40 I would like to have!

The insurance company may well decline to pay the quidco, but I'm not sure.
