I know that these are popular, its through the TJ Hughes outlet on ebay. They have them in red blue and silver and it seems they have quite a few sizes in each.

They have tonnes of them in TK Maxx for £22.99 too. Got them in white yesterday.

Try them on somewhere first before buying online if you can. The sizes are huge. I'm normally an 8 and bought a 6.

Just for info - I seem to remember someone mentioning that normally Birk.s (like these) have the leather fastened to the side of the sole like these, whereas TJHughes have the leather attached to the top of sole. I think someone said it wouldn't be as comfy - might rub?. But not sure. birkenstocks.jpg

The TJ Hughes ones are much narrower that the Madrid Birkenstocks.

I ordered some a couple of years ago for my Mum and me and had to send them back as far too narrow.

In my local TJ Hughes they have the Birkenstock relax and they are very wide fitting.

TJ Hughes often just have the narrow ones. These are identifiable by the filled in foot on the inside sole. If the foot is not filled in they are the wider ones. TK Maxx often have the narrow ones as well.

That was me, the TJ ones do not look as comfy as the one I have bought direct from Birkenstock.

I usually use footshopping to buy (which is Birkenstock's own website) which has the whole range supposedly but have never seen the ones where the strap goes into the sole on the website. Possibly a cheaper range made especially for TJ Hughes???? It is worth checking out the bargain section on footshopping as they have some from about £15.
