Any recommendations?
Just had my hair dyed a brighter shade of red - blue eyes, very pale and pale brows - and now I need a brow liner to complement.
I've heard Avon Glimmersticks are good.
Trying to resist my MAC/eBay habit, but some of shades do look nice..

I have naturally dark blonde hair but dye my hair bright red, I have the same issue! In the end I decided to dye my eye brows as I was having to apply a colour every day and it was a pain (eyelure is great) but if your set on using a brow pencil I'd recommend Boots No.7 which have a really good shade, I have not found a cheaper brand to match. Failing that benefit have some good kits but they are on the pricier side.0

Avon glimmersticks in blonde are the best for me, natural redhead with fair brows. I think Avon has stopped making the glimmersticks I am also totally converted now to the elf brow kit in light/fair/blonde or something like that and even better only costs around £3. It is a taupe powder and a brown wax so you can make it as dark as you require. The body shop also do an ok blonde brow pencil that is a light brown without red tones.
I find that too many of the pencils have really red undertones that look awful on my skin. I need to have a true brown or grey/taupe undertone to it. I have found that price is no indication of effectiveness and often the cheaper pencils give better colour. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
As a fake redhead myself - I use MAC ( sorry!)0

I would uggest tinting your eyebrows or Collection 2000 eyebrow pencil in Blonde, a taupe colour with no red tones and the colour can be controlled with pressure and of course its very :money:Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Thanks everyone.
I'm going to try a blonde glimmerstick from Avon, despite being a massive MAC fan (£££).
I already dye my brows a little darker at home, as they are practically see-through, but I think my hairdresser would faint if I asked him the colour them the same shade as my hair.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -

If your hair is dyed bright red, it won't just be your hairdresser that would faint. I have a vision of you walking around with pillar box red brows
If you already dye them can you not just leave the dye on longer for a darker tint. I get mine tinted and it is pretty much just wipe on and wipe off for a mid brown colour and left longer for darker. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
It doesn't seem to last five minutes, as they're naturally really thin and fine.
I wear quite a lot of eye makeup and find a bit of powder or pencil on the brows finishes the 'look' off.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0
