wet and dry epilator-do they work?

I want to get an epilator, as I can't bear to wait the time to wax my legs now summer is here. So-I am looking for recommendations for one to buy

I would like to be able to use it in the shower, as it would make my routine easier. I am wondering if this is worth the money?

I havent used an epilator for years when I tried to use my mums, and it wrecked! But I wax now, and think my pain threshold must have increased!

Also-how best to avoid ingrown hairs?

Thanks :)

I've had mine (the Braun wet and dry) for almost 2 years and still going strong, I use it around 2X per month on legs and underarms. Personally, I prefer to use it dry, when I use it wet I just dont like it, and it hurts more for me haha, but I think its all about how you like it, and with ingrown, exfoliate every 2-3 days, or even just use one of those exfoliating gloves when you use shower gel

Thats the exact model I have, I bought it in August last year at full price.

Its very good indeed, I have quite coarse hair so its quite tough to remove, my tactic is have a good old hot soak to let the skin loosen up and relax, towel off and then attack with the epi. In the wet it just doesn't grip as well and totally dry it hurts like heck (although numbing sprays help with that)

I think its a really good device. Certainly helps me. In terms of ingrowers, I dont seem to get many at all, maybe I'm just lucky.
