                    Hi,
we will be looking to purchase our first home in approximately 6 months by which time we expect to have saved a 20,000 deposit. We have 3 children and no debts other than my student loan.
My husband is employed and earns 40,000 per annum
I have been self employed since Aug 2009. I transfer 1500 per month into our current account.
I'd like to try to determine approximately how much we may be able to borrow. I've tried a few of the online mortgage calculators but am not sure if my income can be taken into account at all as I wont have 3 years of audited accounts. Is it possible my income could be treated as 'additional income'?
any advice would be appreciated
...just to add. We have good credit scores but have recently paid off around 14,000 of debt including a large loan and 2 credit cards each. Would it make any difference to our credit scores if all of the credit card accounts were closed at once?
thanks

I would advise you to see a whole of market mortgage broker. They will give you the advice you need.0
