I dont think that I ignored the topic as such-I just gave my personal opinion.
Im a great advocate of credit unions and I make no apology for that.
You no longer have to save before hand to be able to borrow, though I think each credit union makes their own decision on this.Just as not each credit union has increases their rates.I still think they are an alternitive for a lot of people to the much more expensive doorstep lenders.

I am not aware of any new clients who lost out to Farepak.
It's not all bad news for FPs customers though. They 'may' get back 15 pence in the pound. wooppee
For those customers expecting a hamper to feed their kids at Christmas, instead they can receive a nude calender for the whole family to enjoy
