Invented a card game

Hi I'm out of work and have invented a new card football game with dice and cards,it's simple and fun-could I go anywhere with this idea , with computer games I couldn't compete -is there a market for this sort of thing? and if so how do I go about promoting it and getting manufacturers interested.

How easy is it to patent something and how do I go about it and is it expensive?

There may be computer games, etc now but people still do enjoy playing cards - my kids love a game of Uno with me and hubby You won't know unless you go for it and will always be wondering 'what if '.
Definitely get it patented first and then find out who to speak to next
