I don't normally shop at Sainsburys, but we were on our way to a BBQ a few weeks back and popped in on the way to get some sausages, and we picked these up for 99p. They are fine, pretty much the same as the Tesco Butchers Choice ones.

Jsut checked this out and the cumberland sausages are also on offer for 25p - they are the frozen ones and were quite nice the last time I had them. Bargain! Don't know if it's in store or just home delivery though.

I just bought 5 bags of these today but they are 'Lincolnshire', as when i searched on the Sainsburys website for 'Butchers Choice' these were the only ones that came up, so that's what i looked for when i went instore.
I noticed the ops post has a typo of 'Chioce' instead of 'Choice' but when i searched for 'Cumberland' on Sainsburys website i realised the typo was from their site and not the ops fault :rotfl:

I might have a look for the Cumberland ones tomorrow

Both the

& the
Sainsbury's Butcher's Chioce Cumberland Sausages x12 600g
are on offer for 25p a pack. Distinct lack of Sainsbury shops in my area though so I won't be getting any.

The low price is due to a change in packaging the new version of frozen butchers choice sausages are now packed in bags with a stripy pattern & cost £2 per bag, there does not appear to be any difference in the ingredients. Both types are listed on the sainsbury website.

Thanks OP:T. Got these in my local sainsburys last night (Pinner). Marked up as a £1 but went through at 25p. Perfect for my BBQ in a couple of weeks time... got 40 people:eek: to feed!

I went into sainsburys to look for these but they didnt have any but sitting next to them were Sainsbury's 40 chipolatas for 85p.
