I have a small chocolate fountain and I just used Sainsburys basics milk chocolate (which actually tastes nice), my instructions said to melt it and mix with cream

  • Thorntons do a bag of chocolate fountain drops - you just melt it in the microwave - no need to mix it with anything. About £10 a bag but you don't need to use it all at once and it's yum!! :)

Do you know what size your chocolate fountain is?

I have only used my chocolate fountain once - when I got it bought as it came with chocolate, it's so expensive to buy other wise!

    TIA

our instructions recommended adding a little vegetable oil to keep the choc flowing - if using standard chocolate
I persoanally didn't like the idea and have always used Sainsbury's cooking chocolate (melts at a lower temperature) and low cost
My fountain is only little, but I use 1third dark choc to 2thirds milk choc - it's divine x x x
