Self catering wedding venues...

The thread resurfaced with this post....by a new user..it seems perhaps they are looking for inspiration on venues in their area...
I cant help personally as I've very little knowledge of that area.....but would possibly suggest that if they start a new thread of their own their request wont get lost in a much older posting....

try some of the NTS (national trust for Scotland) (they civil and humanist cermonies they allowing us to BYO booze but charge cookage also look at school hall if at the weekend town halls and village halls. We getting married in SW Scotland. the catering I don't know about as hiring a village halls and not doing it at the property.

it was Yeldersley Hall in Ashbourne the best offer i have ever come across! unfortunatley they are too small for us they can do up to 120 people. Its beautiful and l am gutted we cant book it.
