Can you use other brands with this or just Nescafe?
Is it better than the Senseo I've had reccommended on another board?0 -
The coffee from the dg is delicious (I'm addicted to the Macchiato), but currently only 4 available with chocolate coming soon apparently. I spent a long time talking to my uncle who has a tassimo and a senseo before buying the dg. He told me that the tassimo was great, but he wasn't overly keen on the senseo - it does the job, but it's not as good as his tassimo. I've never used a senseo, but I love my Dolce Gusto, very very much lol"A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

Buy a jar of nescafe for £3.000

Costco has the DG in, but I couldn't say how much it is. I have a Tassimo, so I didn't take any notice of the price.
The machine looks nice though, doesn't it?0 -
Yes I tried the coffee today in Tesco - its by far the nicest coffee of any of the instant coffee machines ( i have had the tassimo & senseo ). They have now reducd theirs to £79.98 plus you get two cups free with it and a voucher to send away for another 2 cups inside.0

Hi Guys,
My hubbie bought me one of these for xmas, and it looks fab, but I've never seen the pods. I've checked eBay and Kelkoo but I can't see them. Does anybody know where I can buy them?0 -
Tesco sells the pods, but as someone said you can only use proper Nescafe ones with it.
My dad bought one of these a few weeks ago and we ended up returning it as the coffee was quite cool for the most part. I bought a senseo and I much prefer it. Senseo doesnt have to have the proper dowe egberts pads either and Netto do their own which are gorgeous!
Also, you can buy "eco pods" for the senseo which is a reuseable pod that you can fill with your own ground coffe0
