    Business site £19.99 + VAT

    Consumer site £23.49 inc VAT

Go to either site and where it says Order by Catalogue Number

    add

    A23-DF05012

    then add

    Y22-PRKAFFEE1 for the coffee maker

    Still in stock.
It looks as though it has gone up to £29.99 + VAT now but still not too bad

Four boxes from Viking sitting downstairs.

    One Desk (Two boxes)
    One Expresso Coffee maker
(Third one now - they make lovely gifts!)
    One ream of paper.

    Thanks for that Cavern.:)

BEFORE YOU ASSEMBLE DESK READ THIS.

LEAVE ALL of the fittings in their lettered bags for easier identification.

OIL all of the threads first - WD40 or similar silicone lubricant.

THROW the supplied Allen key away and find one that a) Fits and b) Lasts.

Double check the assembly because undoing the parts takes for ever.

Note - the threads are FAR longer than they need to be so you'll spend half the night screwing and you'll get sore and blistered (Nothing new there then, I hear you say)

The desk looks good completed and is very sturdy but a lot of work.

Some of the threads on the bottom legs are not turned very well on mine and they are VERY easy to cross. I am writing to Viking for a couple of replacements. (As a one time mechanic I don't cross threads. Bad manufaxcture I'm afraid).

Hopefully this will make the task a lot easier.

    Good Luck

Yes you are correct, it has gone up to £29.99 + VAT but it does say List price £19.99. Viking price £29.99 so it may be an error. Best to ring them first. There is an 0800 on their site.

Totally 100% agree with you there. I had a few long screws when I got mine and it took ages getting it up.

Had to replace the allen key and did notice the feet threads where slightly out but had no problem putting it all together.

BTW I ordered one, they delivered two. Just checked my CC and they have charged me for two. Invoice says one desk.

i rang up at 2.30pm today, as the website had a back order status and i wasn't sure if it was ordered or not. They have more coming in on friday, and he still took my order on my phone. I confirmed that the price was 19.99 he said no it was 29.99 and i mentioned that it was in my basket online for 19.99, so he rechecked and found it elsewhere for 19.99 so gave it to me at that price. I went in as a business customer.

    cheers

On the base pole the screw holes are different sizes. One hole for the feet and one for the screws or did you know that.

I am sure they are both different sizes.

Emailed Viking last night for a couple of replacement feet and received Email back today saying that they dont send out replacement parts but will collect the old one and send me a completely new one.

Damn good service but, as I explained to the lady on the phone today, it took hours to assemble and although the new one would be quicker to assemble I really don't fancy going through all that again so instead she offered to credit me with the cost of the other item that I purchased which was a box of A4 envelopes - Cost £9.00.

Happy ending. I get MY desk for £11.00. :):):)

    Great Company to deal with!

Oh BTW. The lady I spoke with said that on-line they are still £19.99 Each.
