good morning, today I am (hopefully) (I'm too lazy! ) going to tesco to get a loaf of bread-but I know when I go I will spend much more than 50p for the bread-that's why I never want to go!
We are also getting takeaway tonight as OH should finish his shift early and I'm off tommoow so its our weekly "treat" (we were very good last week and didn't get one!):D
It was very wet and windy here this morning but seems to be clearing up and getting nice out there, so hopefully that'll happen everywhere else!:rotfl:
I also got a nice suprise-as the £233 that I thought the bank hadn't earmarked-they had so instead of being £233 down I am actually £233 up and OH gets paid 2moro!:Tofficial dfw nerd club member no 214

Ooh, I've been a bit slack at posting in these threads
Anyway, today is a day for a bit of christmas shopping for me... but shopping in true dfw style I promise (i.e. online with all manner of codes/discounts/special offers and, or course, quidco cashback on top! Every item I'm getting has at least one discount as well as cashback, very pleased! :T) I've been planning for days, finding the best deals, so today is the day!
I'm doing 2 mystery shops so that'll be £20 to come in a few weeks
And, other than that, the obligatory £4.90 bridge toll to get home from work

HI Moozie again, will try and update my diary soon, have a few upcoming expenses I need to budget for.
Anyhow just back from town and spent the following
£1.20 on car parking
£1.80 on NERO cappucino
46p bar of dairy milk
£3.46 in total.
The went to hand in my dissertation and library books I had borrowed then had to apologise becuase I had no money to pay for my library fine of 40p as I had spent it on chocolate instead. Well I think it was a better use of my money really!:rotfl:
Got my glasses tightened but still slipping a lot and have come to the conclusion that they are just not suitable for work. Can not get a refund on these so will have to bite the bullet and get a cheaper pair for work, will go and have a look at the weekend for a second pair. I really wish I had gone to somewhere like Boots or specsavers and got a 2 - for - 1 deal. Oh well.:mad:Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -
Good afternoon fellow DFWers.
I'm having a no spend day for odds and sods, but am doing my Christmas shopping tonight. It's all budgeted for though so I'm not counting it.

Morning moozie - got your message and updated signature - sorry.
Tooth is giving me a bit less gip today - but still there! Because there's an abcess, I have to have a course of antibiotics before they will extract
Will need to go to chemist - I'm not sure if I have to pay for prescription - otherwise no spend envisaged today. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
