Used my voucher in Morrisons yesterday. Their till took off the full £1.55 even though their price is £1.42. The assistant wasn't happy but told me that she didn't know what to do to rectify the new tills they have so she'd "let me get away with it this time" you'd think it was her cash!

They are £1.10 in Mr T's, so 45p profit, and they went thro the SS till without needing help of the SA.

Thanks, worked for me too when I put in 1111, hubbies off to Tesco's so given him the voucher. To be fair I do buy the sauces and my 15 words were genuine praise.

I had two jars of this curry sauce in my cupboard. I tried both codes and neither worked. Then tried the made up one and it did work! Go figure. :o

So what happens if thats the only thing you buy - do they actually give you the 45p? :rotfl:

No the til has a go at you saying "overprice transaction" and unless you grab something else to add up to the cost they cant physically transact it due to the whole extra money thing (done this with other things)
  • I actually clicked the like sauce and applied for the voucher, but iam surprised got an voucher for free sauce and got the cheque and 50p off voucher. As i applied for the voucher i just given my surname different,so i got a cheque with that surname,it is not matching with my bank details surname,i dont know if i deposit that cheque,Any one can help me with this ?

You'll have to contact them as your bank wont allow you to cash it in. It will probably say account payee only on it? If so just contact them and say you use a different name.
