Best way to get temporary loan
Options
Hi.
I'm having to spend money at a rate of £143.50 per week and am running out of credit on my credit card. I do get the money re-imbursed, but this takes about a month to 6 weeks to happen, and I'l be well out of money by then.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best place to get a temporary loan? I would only need about £300-400, which I would be able to pay back in less than 2 months. My credit card company have already increased the credit on my card once, but they can't/won't do it again until May.
Any help is appreciated.
Hussein.

Is this time lag likely to disappear or can you make up the gap over time? If so your best bet is an overdraft.
If you are being reimbursed then can you claim the interest you are paying?

Is this business expenses? If so i'd try to get another credit card. That way you could keep things seperate. Do you have a decent credit history?0

Hi. I'm an undergraduate student. The expenses are travel expenses that are re-imbursed to me.
The company will not pay any interest charges on top of what they're already paying me. But if I could get credit, I'm sure at a maximum one month's interest wouldn't be that much. Also, I do have an overdraft, but how do I transfer that onto my credit card so I can use the money?

About a year ago I had an overdraft transferred onto a 0% Egg card. Not sure they are still offering this facility but it might be worth a try.;)0 -
MBNA offer this. Its called a super balance transfer. You can have up to 95% of your limit transferred to your account. 0% for 12 months. Fee payable (but can haggle over this)0
