Hi
I am coming back from Aus to the UK (i'm english) and have a job lined up and was hoping to get a mortgage within a few months of being back.
Do mortgage companies have a minimum time they would like someone to be in a job before they lend money based on the salary, and if so, what is the general min employment time before they consider giving a mortgage?
thanks

No. But the longer you have continuous employment the better for credit scoring.
Some lenders dislike probationary periods.0
