Anyone suggest a cheap BB supplier?

Currently with Virgin on 8 meg @ £17.99 with a 6 gig limit.
Looking to save some money so I want to downgrade, virgin wont let me downgrade my package for some reason? Id be happy with 512/1GB line speed and a limit of 3 GIG would be great, not really bothered if there is a contract involved, the main thing is its reliable and cheap
Anyone got any suggestions?

Best to look on the MSE telephone or internet forums - or you could type Broadband Comparison in google and find lots of UK sites that are more in the know.Aint got a signature - as I cant think of anything world wisely to say.0

AOL; 1 mb for 9.99 unlimited. i started with 14.99 but read the thread to haggle with them as sky are doing 9.99 deal. so they brought my price down but i have read they are also giving this deal to new customers. so just say to them that i have sky and they are offering me 1mb for 9.99 but i thought i should ask aol bfr (a survy) blah blah ..... and they should give you the 9.99 deal.0

We've got Virgin broadband for free when we took out a £15 per month, sim only mobile contract. The mobile deal comes with 200 mins & 500 texts per month.
Service is generally good but the broadband is useless for online gaming (since moving, my ping rates in games went from 50 to 200+)
