Central heating - shoddy work?

Hi.
I had a plumber in today to install a new boiler and alter a bit of pipework for the central heating. However, I dont think all is well. Im no expert so maybe you guys and offer some advice...
Some for the central heating pipes that have been moved in the upstairs floor cavity are slightly proud of the joists so that when I replace the floor board it rocks on the pipe. There is space for the pipe, and just enough give, if I screw the floorboard down but the pipe will be pressed up against the board. That cant be good, right? Also, at one point the hot pipe touches the cold return. The rest of the run there is a 2mm gap. This is all about a meter from the boiler outlet so the hot pipe will be hot! Is this all going to result in crecking/banging/knocking sounds? Do I need to get him to redo it? I havent paid yet as he finished before I got home.
Your thoughts please.
Many thanks

Draw up alist of 'snagging' items. If he is decent, he will be happy to put them right. If he doesn't, keep some of his money back and get them done by somebody else.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

The floorboards shouldn't be pressing on the copper pipes. I always put tubular hairfelt around heating pipes where they cross joists, to try to eliminate the expansion noises0
