Welcome one and all. For those of you who saw the little of my previous diary - this is a follow on.
So my girlfriend has recently given birth to my son - her second, so Im being a very proud dad for the first time. Part of fatherhood wakes you up and made me realise that its no good trying to get by I have to provide my children with a better quality of life.
In the last few months ive knocked 800 off my credit card and removed my loan after discovering some savings I lost.
So now I feel like a weight has been taken off my shoulders and I can start to enjoy being paid!
Today's Debt:
B/Card = £6,410 F/D = £3,190
Loan = £0 Woohoo!
Total Debt = £9500
Debt as of 26-1-11:
Total Debt = £14,325

    Thanks Flee!
    Its all been going well so far. Although today I appear to have been said double what I normally get. Im not sure if this is in error or backdated pay. The one thing I do know is that it would say off half the car insurance! Just keeping it in a savings account until I get my payslip! Wish this happened more often!

Tomorrow its a friends birthday at a posh restrarant as ive no spare cash ive got to join for a beer or two and disappear before it gets too late. At least thats a benefit of having kids!

Im quite calm this month as I know ive got no spare cash and for a change im relying on oh to provide food for us all. Come next week Ill get paid and knock most of the debt down a bit. But its the car thats worrying me Ive got tax £120 to pay as well as £450 insurance! Oh well Ill just have to see whats left.

    So its been a while since my last entry. This is partly due to the fact that things have been going ok. Car tax and insurance were the biggys this month were i managed to get paid with money left over. Feel really bad though I feel like Ive relapsed in some kind of way - I ve brought myself a used phone for 60 on ebay which is a really good price and what is needed however paypal is linked to my fd card which Im trying to pay off - feels like ive just lost a months payment! On the upside I should have almost 100 left by the end of the month so that can go back on the cards!
